The significance of GTL is more multi-faceted, more far-reaching than any other energy development in recent history. For the energy industry, economic GTL offers a new option with potential application to a wide range of situations where current technology falls short. Industry and producing countries can now re-evaluate investment strategies to address opportunities from exploration through production, refining and marketing. Those with early access to GTL technology will enjoy enormous benefits in both absolute and competitive terms. Those who do not access the technology may be at a serious competitive disadvantage. They will be foreclosed from important investment opportunities and a valuable new option for solving environmental and regulatory problems.

Synfuels International believes that a significant opportunity exists for the use of a cost-effective GTL system due to the large resource base of natural gas worldwide and the large volume of natural gas that is currently stranded. Synfuels' objective is to become a leading GTL technology provider to the oil, gas and chemical industries.

Synfuels is in the process of offering licenses to the Synfuels GTL Process and related proprietary systems and componentry for the production of liquid fuels. To support its licensing efforts, Synfuels intends to establish relationships with oil, gas, and chemical industry leaders, engineering companies and manufacturers of critical components to facilitate the design and construction of GTL systems by licensees.

Synfuels' major customers for licensing GTL systems are expected to be energy companies and foreign countries worldwide with significant stranded natural gas reserves that cannot be economically marketed and are therefore generally shut-in, flared or re-injected. Synfuels International believes that these potential licensees will significantly enhance the value of their reserves by using the Synfuels GTL Process to convert their natural gas into liquids that can be economically marketed.

Synfuels believes that support of its licensees both before and after they have executed a license agreement will be critical to facilitate the development of multiple GTL projects based on the Synfuels Process. Synfuels intends to provide support through its engineering team and other engineering companies and component manufacturers strategically aligned with Synfuels. Synfuels' engineers and business development managers will establish relationships with its licensees as they move through the process of developing and deploying the Synfuels technology.
